Luxim honored by The Wall Street Journal

The Wall Street Journal named LUXIM a winner in its Next Big Thing: Top 10 Venture-Backed, Clean Technology Companies award. This award ranks companies for entrepreneurial pedigree, growth, investor success, and more.

We were recognized in a field of over 500 US-based venture-backed clean tech companies. It was a privilege to receive this award during the Wall Street Journal’s ECO:nomics conference held this week in Santa Barbara, Calif. (You can find more details in our press release online.)

This award caps a year of milestones for us, as our Light Emitting Plasma™ technology is now saving energy and money for municipalities and corporations on four continents. Scottsburg, Indiana became the first city in the US to upgrade its municipal lighting by switching to LEP. In China, the streets of three cities are now illuminated by LEP, and Australia's leading lighting company recently joined forces with LUXIM to bring our technology to that region.

We are proud to see the recognition our innovations have received in the industry and to have our products contributing to energy and cost savings worldwide. It’s inspiring for our team to be at the forefront of energy-efficient lighting as the transition to sustainable light-source solutions accelerates. We are looking forward to a bright future!
